SPR is an independent, data-based baseball project built from years of work tracking starting pitcher value.
Starting Pitcher Rating was built to give starting pitchers a clear, consistent, data-based grade for every outing. The goal is to make starting pitcher value easier to understand for players, parents, coaches, and fans.
The rankings are not opinion-based. Every public grade comes from the data and the same system applied across the database.
